Before submitting your application, please take a look through our terms and conditions. If you have any other questions, don’t hesitate to drop us a line at firstname.lastname@example.org. We’d be happy to help!
The CANTAB Research Grant is an international award open to all individuals conducting research in the fields of neuroscience, psychology, psychiatry, and related subjects where cognitive function is being measured.
Any applicant who has won an award in previous years may reapply but must do so with a new research project.
All applications should be made through Cambridge Cognition’s application form.
Applications are open from the 20th of March 2023 through to 9th of June 2023. The dates may be extended at the discretion of Cambridge Cognition and (where this is the case) the website and these terms shall be updated accordingly.
The 2023 CANTAB Research Grant will consist of one primary award of £1,000 ($1,300 US / €1,100) and two secondary awards of £250 ($325 US / €275). The funds given must be used to support the costs of conducting a research study or costs associated with presenting research at a conference or event.
The three successful applicants will be rewarded with:
- a grant fund,
- access to support from the science team at Cambridge Cognition; and
- a CANTAB Connect Research™* licence, subject to Cambridge Cognition’s Academic Terms and Conditions (as amended from time to time), with 150 assessments**. These assessments are not time-bound, but the research project must be due to start in 2023.
* An iPad is required to run CANTAB Connect Research.
** An assessment is any subject being tested at one time-point using your pre-determined test battery.
The three successful applicants will be chosen by a committee consisting of members of the Cambridge Cognition Science, Product and Business Development teams.
The three successful applicants will be notified by 29th September 2023 and the awards shall be received within 7 days from the notification.
By submitting an application to the CANTAB Research Grant you agree to Cambridge Cognition promoting your research title in the first instance and (once your project is complete) to sharing your published research.
